London Fashion Week | Tobefrank & MOLYNEAUX A/W20
It’s that time of year where creatives flock to collectively combine their talents for the event of the season that we know to be Fashion Week. For me, Fashion Week is an opportunity to join some highly fulfilling collaborations and above all else, catch an early glimpse of the next seasons trends, styles and techniques, and this season did not disappoint.
The highlight of fashion week for me was the Tobefrank event. This collection was curated with tailored monochrome pieces that were all ethically and environmentally considerate, using only sustainable fabrics including recycled plastics, wool and buttons.
The beauty looks designed to celebrate this collection included beautiful satin finish makeup and hair up styled with large, chic bows. The eco vein ran all the way through this event making beauty no exception. This saw the beauty team using only sustainable and eco friendly brands such as Spectrum Collections, West Barn (the brand that brings us the legendary cult beauty product, Soap Brows) Eylure, Arbonne and Seoulista Beauty who were all sponsors to the show.
MakeUp for the event was designed by Key Nicki Bugs who curated this chic, modern makeup using some core products that include the new Spectrum Collections Zodiac palette for eyes, their beautiful matte finish lipstick in Jupiter along side the infamous Soap brows for utter brow perfection. For precision cat eye flicks, I used my absolute favourite eyeliner gel by Inglot (-it’s the perfect texture for precision and it does not budge.) and topped off eyes with a splay of Eylure individual lashes.
